Event Staff Member

We’re excited to invite a friendly, motivated individual to join our Soul Fries family! Paid training shifts starting in April with a contract start date of the 1st of May, we’re looking for at least one dedicated event staff member to work with us at events across the South West and throughout the UK.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the street food industry and grow within our expanding business. While prior experience in cooking, street food, or event work is a bonus, we provide full training and certification.

We’re simply looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who’s eager to get involved and commit to the entire summer season and potentially beyond.

The job:

This role would suit anyone looking for a fun, varied, and challenging position in a street food setting. There is potential for ongoing employment, growth and development within a growing independent business.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepping for events at our unit (based in Brislington BS4 5QR)

  • Helping with set up and pack down before and after events

  • Chipping, frying and loading loaded fries

  • Handling cash / card transactions and serving customers with friendly attitude

  • Assisting with clean down and wash up after events

Essential:

  • Must be 21 +

  • A clean driver’s license is required

  • Access to a vehicle is desired and you must be comfortable driving company vans from our prep unit in BS4 to and from event sites

  • An eye for detail

  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality

  • Willingness to clean

  • Comfortable working as part of a team

  • Flexible with working late nights (up to 1AM)

Key Details:

• Paid Trial & Training: Begins in April

• Contract Start: 1st of May

• Expected Hours: 20-25 hours per week with the potential for significantly more hours during the summer season.

• Shift Pattern: Mostly Tuesday/ Wednesday through Sunday, with a rotating schedule (mostly evenings and weekends during peak season).

  • Above real living wage pay based on experience
